Lea Good, BAIUSHKI's Creative Lead with years of experience in designing and handcrafting jewerly, brings forth her distinctive design language making BAIUSHKI jewelry a recognizable and coveted aesthetic.
In our process of custom made rings, you will work hand in hand with Lea directly so you'll be able to co-create your own personalized version of the organically inspired forms and serene shapes that transpire throughout our BAIUSHKI jewelry.
Local & sustainable
Your rings will be made by Lea in our studio in Basel. Some steps are done in partner ateliers in Switzerland. From the analogue wax model to the casting and finishing, your ring is made by hand with the greatest care by Lea. We only use precious metals that are fully recycled or sustainably sourced within the fair standards of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
Personalized engraving
Your names in handwriting or a symbol that reflects your bond, whichever your choice, we are happy to engrave your rings on the inside at no additional cost. We partner with an expert laser engraving atelier in Switzerland to achieve this with the highest standards.
Process
As this is a cherished moment in your life, our process of working with you is intended to be just as special. We are happy to welcome you here at our studio in Basel with an intimate setting and a personalized approach. From the start to finish, our process overall in designing and creating your customized ring takes approximately 2-3 months time.
At the first step, you will meet with Lea so that you can get a feeling for our design language and discover different ring styles. Perhaps you already have an idea of what you like? Together we will work to achieve your desired design. With Lea's expertise, she will guide you into a truly unique symbol of your sentiment. A creation that is made one-of-a-kind for you unlike any ring before.
Depending on the design, the next step is for Lea to create a wax ring by hand. After about 2-4 weeks, you can come to try on the wax model and we can discuss adjustments. You are an important part of the creation process - so we can be sure that the rings will meet your expectations in the end.
We accept appointments for custom ring commissions each Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. For exceptional needs, we are also available on some Saturdays of the month. Contact us here to book your first visit with us.
Costs
The creation of a unique custom-made ring by Lea starts at CHF 1000.-.
Depending on the materials used, the final price usually ranges from CHF 1500.- to CHF 2500.- per ring. After our first meeting we will send you a quote.
